Everything to be aware of before you register for ARSC 2022.

Please understand, by registering for this year’s conference, you accept the following terms and conditions.

Registration Conditions

Early bird registrations that remain unpaid at the beginning of conference (Wednesday 28 September 2022) will be automatically increased to the standard registration rate.

By registering or attending this event, registrants give permission for their:

  • Images captured during the event through video, livestream and/or photo to be used in promotional and commercial materials, publications and on related websites.
  • Contact information to be included in newsletter lists and any further correspondence for future conferences.
  • Contact details to be provided to confirmed sponsors or exhibitors of ARSC 2022.
  • By registering, attending or viewing this event, registrants and attendees agree not to rebroadcast, re-transmit, record or share any of the content of this event without express written permission from the conference organisers. The conference organisers reserve the right to reject and refuse any registrations and attendance at this event for any reason and at any time.

Invoice payments

Credit cards
Please be advised our payment service provider Centium Software, is PCI DSS Level 1 compliant. This means, your card holder data is protected to the highest possible levels, from data entry into our online registration sites, through to payment into the banks.

You will be charged a merchant fee of 3%, to be added to your total, should you choose to pay your registration/accommodation via credit card.

Direct Credit to bank account
Payment of invoices by direct credit are to an Australian bank account.  You are responsible for all transaction fees including, but not limited to, international transfer or currency exchange.

Cancellation policy

Should you be unable to attend once you have registered, you may reassign your registration to another person at no cost. Please note you must advise the Conference Secretariat by email to rachael@hardingconsultants.co.nz

Should you wish to switch your F2F registration to Virtual or vice versa, this can be done up until 15 September 2022.

If circumstances arise, as determined solely by the ACRS, that necessitate that the conference must be held virtually only, delegates who have registered for the in-person conference will be automatically switched to the virtual conference and receive a refund for the difference, based on the fee applicable at the date of the original registration (early bird/regular).

Registration cancellations will not be accepted unless made in writing to rachael@hardingconsultants.co.nz.

Cancellation requests received:

  • up to and including Wednesday 31 August 2022 will receive a full refund less an administrative charge of NZ$150 plus GST.
  • from Thursday 1 September up to and including Wednesday 14 September 2022 will receive a 50% refund.
  • on or after Thursday 15 September 2022 are not entitled to a refund.

Please note that all cancellation fees are payable irrespective of whether the invoice for registration has been paid or not at the time of cancellation.

If, for reasons beyond the control of ARSC and Harding Conferences, the conference is cancelled, the registration fee will be refunded after the deduction of expenses already incurred.

COVID-19 Protection Framework

Entry will be subject to any conditions set at the time of the conference by the COVID-19 Protection Framework introduced by the New Zealand Government.  Currently there are no restrictions to be considered.

Registering to attend the conference delegates will acknowledge and understand that this may change and failure to comply with any restrictions that might be in place could affect their ability to attend the conference.  We will, of course, update this if there are any changes.

Registration at the conference also confirms delegates acknowledge the need to adhere to any restrictions relevant to COVID restrictions at the time and that COVID-19 guidelines are subject to change.

All best endeavours will be made to present the programme as displayed on the conference website. ARSC 2022 and its agents reserve the right to alter without prior notice, any of the arrangements, timetables, plans or other items relating to the conference, for any cause beyond its reasonable control.

ARSC 2022 and Harding Conferences are not liable for any loss or inconvenience caused as a result of such alteration. In the event of unforeseen circumstances, ARSC 2022 and the conference organisers do not accept responsibility for loss of monies caused by delays and/or cancellation. Delegates are advised to take out personal travel insurance and to extend their policy to cover personal possessions. The conference does not cover individuals against cancellations of any bookings or theft or damage to belongings.

Insurance

Registration fees do not include insurance of any kind. It is strongly recommended that all delegates take out their own travel insurance and medical insurance prior to the conference. The policy should include loss of fees through cancellation of your participation in the conference itself, loss of airfares for any reason, medical expenses and repatriation should travel arrangements have to be altered. In the event of industrial disruptions or natural disasters the meeting secretariat cannot accept responsibility for any financial or other losses incurred by delegates. Nor can the secretariat take responsibility for injury or damage to property or persons occurring during the conference or associated activities. Insurance is the responsibility of the individual delegate.

Accommodation cancellation policy

The conference has secured a block booking as indicated on the accommodation page. Rooms will be allocated on a first-in basis until Wednesday 31st August 2022, as long as there are rooms available. After that date, all unallocated rooms will be released and no guarantee can be made that rooms will be available. If you cancel your accommodation after Wednesday 31st August 2022, or you are a “no show” you will be charged a cancellation fee levied by the accommodation provider.
