The Australasian College of Road Safety (ACRS) is the Asia Pacific’s peak membership association for road safety professionals, advocates, and members of the public who are focused on saving lives and serious injuries on our roads.
The College provides a rich, collaborative environment to promote communication, networking, professionalism and advocacy across all spheres of road safety – including policy, advocacy, research, application and dissemination.
Our current membership includes experts from across all areas of road safety: policymakers, academics, community organisations, researchers, federal, state and local government agencies, private companies and members of the public. We attract and retain these experts through the active and inclusive nature of our organisation, and we warmly invite all those interested in saving lives and serious injuries on our roads to be a part of our progressive organisation.
Austroads is the collective of the Australian and New Zealand transport agencies, representing all levels of government. Austroads members are collectively responsible for the management of over 900,000 kilometres of roads valued at more than $250 billion representing the single largest community asset in Australia and New Zealand.
Providing high-quality, practical and impartial advice, information, tools and services, Austroads helps its members make mobility safer and more reliable for all users and our transport infrastructure sustainable and future proof.
Austroads’ work is evidence-based and impacts a wide range of agencies including planning, service, infrastructure, health and safety, public health and policing.
The New Zealand Local Authority Traffic Institute or Trafinz represents local authority views on road safety and traffic management in New Zealand. It exists to lobby the government, to influence decision making on road safety and traffic issues. It also acts as a forum for collectively pursuing traffic issues of interest to local authorities, and for sharing information and advice.
