Conference Venue

Things are different this year.

The Australasian Road Safety Conference will be held in a hybrid format – in person and online from Wednesday, 28 September to Friday, 30 September 2022.

If you’re attending in person, the venue for ARSC 2022 is Te Pae Christchurch Convention Centre.

Te Pae Christchurch Convention Centre
188 Oxford Terrace
Christchurch 8011
New Zealand

Te Pae Christchurch Convention Centre is the city’s gathering place. An architectural and social landmark designed as the welcoming heart in the centre of Ōtautahi Christchurch. It is a gathering place for the 21st century, where the world comes together to share, learn and experience manaakitanga and entertainment that is unparalleled.

With a striking design, the building itself is an iconic landmark in a flourishing cityscape. Influences of our majestic southern landscape are interwoven into the exterior, making it a physical representation of New Zealand, it’s culture and the stories of their people.  It embraces everything ‘Canterbury’.

Sitting at the heart of Canterbury, New Zealand’s food bowl, Te Pae Christchurch is spoiled for choice when it comes to showcasing the rich and varied flavours of NZ.  Sourcing produce from local farmers and ingredients from artisan producers, their chef will design menus that will allow you to taste the very best of what Canterbury and New Zealand has to offer.  All menus are designed by the kitchen with a key focus of sustainability and minimisation of food waste.

Plenary sessions will be held in the magnificent auditorium, with break out sessions also held here and in the Dobson Rooms.  The Exhibition Hall, located very close to the Dobson rooms and easily accessible to the auditorium, will host our valued sponsors, exhibitors and poster displays, along with all day catering.

We look forward to profiling and explaining the many unique features of Te Pae.
