With a strategic and creative agency background, Andrew Hardwick founded the Re:act road safety behaviour change program that challenges design communication students to create positive peer-to-peer campaigns to educate and engage 17-25 year olds.
Since 2016, over 2,000 students across four continents have participated in Re:act with over 70 million people seeing their campaigns.
Re:act has been recognised with a Prince Michael International Road Safety Award and United Nations Regions Award, is included in state government road safety action plans and is the first mandatory road safety program in Australia’s tertiary curriculum.
Andrew’s behaviour change knowledge and contribution has been recognised with seats on various road safety bodies, an Industry Fellowship and an invitation to present at the Third World Youth Assembly in Morocco.
