The Road Safety Field Day brings together a broad range of new approaches, technology and innovations used by those sharing the responsibility of road safety. Technology in vehicles, on roadsides, in the air and for crash response, to reduce death and life changing injuries on our roads will be on display. Road safety practitioners such as WA Police, TranSafe, and the Western Australian Centre for Road Safety Research and others will have interactive displays to showcase how new approaches, technology and innovation is contributing to the Safe System for road safety. The Field Day offers a unique opportunity to get up close and personal with a 60 metre quad and a 53.5 metre triple road train along with virtual reality experience of trucks on the road with the iNSTRUCKTA. The evolution of how we approach road safety is a key to increasing elasticity in the system to make every journey safer; to make every day ‘road safety day’.
