Prof. Juanita Sherwood

Professor Juanita Sherwood is a First Nations Australian and also has Māori Ancestry. Juanita has been gifted to live and work in many communities throughout Australia including urban, rural and remote. These experiences have ensured she has been able to directly observe and hear about issues related to road and health safety for our First Nations communities. Her research work has been focused upon a decolonising agenda in Indigenous health, justice and growing the next generations of First Nations researchers and health professionals.
