Equity, Elasticity and Evolution
With just over 600 delegates from across the world, the annual conference was a huge success bringing together many road safety professionals and practitioners to share ideas and experiences.
ARSC 2025 officially commenced on Monday, 20 October at the Pan Pacific Hotel in Perth, Western Australia.
The event opened with remarks from the Organising Committee and Dr. Ingrid Johnston, CEO of the Australasian College of Road Safety.
This year’s theme, “Equity, Elasticity and Evolution,” set the tone for discussions on shaping the future of road safety. This year’s conference was an incredible celebration of collaboration and commitment to safer roads across the globe.
Highlights included the Road Safety Field Day at the The University of Western Australia, Welcome Drinks at Fraser’s Restaurant in King’s Park, and the Australasian College of Road Safety (ACRS) Gala Awards Dinner at Optus Stadium – complete with the Matagarup Bridge illuminated in the conference theme colour, overlooking the Swan River.
From the excellent keynote speakers and high-quality presentations to the hilarious debate, Safety Strides, Zoo Tour, Walking Tour to the extraordinary Boorloo Bridge, Quiz Night and much more, 2025 ARSC was a true reflection of the passion and expertise driving road safety forward.
