The Women in Road Safety Network (WiRSN) Scholarship aims to support and promote women in road safety at the annual Australasian Road Safety Conference, as well as to network and gain knowledge from other participants and disciplines. The Scholarship is supported by the MAIC/University of Sunshine Coast Road Safety Research Collaboration.
All applicants are required to submit an extended abstract to the ACRS following a call for papers. All submitted extended abstracts will be subject to peer review. Accepted extended abstracts may be afforded the opportunity to submit a full paper to be published in the Conference Proceedings.
Applicants whose abstracts have been accepted will then be asked to provide information to demonstrate how their work helps to support and promote women in road safety. To be eligible, the applicant must be a member of the ACRS to apply. For more information on how to become a member, go to acrs.org.au/membership
